Mike, the Biker Angel

In both an attempt to branch out with a more stylized look and a christmas present for a friend, I designed their Monster Prom Original Character: a biker angel named Mike.

The biggest deviations from my traditional style came in the form of distilling details down to basic forms instead of being overly complicated. Beyond that, there was also the added challenge of doing simple cel-shading and highlights, something i was not familiar with.
